How to make tattoo stencil on phone (mobile-first)
TL;DR
On a phone, Decalker usually generates the stencil in about 30 seconds and exports a 1:1 PDF. You then share or save the PDF, import it into the printer's official app, use 100%, and mirror exactly once. Decalker does not send directly over Bluetooth.
Materials needed
- •iOS 15+ or Android 12+ phone (Bluetooth + camera)

- •Compatible printer and the official app specified by its manual
- •Transfer paper in the format accepted by the model (A4 or Letter on the Phomemo M08F)
Step by step
1. Install Decalker as PWA on phone
If you use the site, open decalker.com in iOS Safari, tap Share, and choose 'Add to Home Screen'. In Android Chrome, use the menu and choose 'Install app' when available. You can also use the iOS app. Installation makes access easier, but generation still needs internet.
2. Take reference photo from app
In Decalkar, use the camera or choose an image from the phone. Prefer even light, keep the reference in focus, and avoid glare and hard shadows. Before uploading, confirm that the full design is visible and important lines are readable.
3. Generate stencil + choose style
After the photo, choose a style and tap 'Decalkar'. Processing usually takes 20 to 40 seconds and may take longer during high demand. Review the result before exporting and regenerate if an essential line is missing.
4. Export 1:1mm PDF for Phomemo
On the result, tap '1:1 PDF', choose A4 or Letter to match the printer, and enter the physical width. The PDF includes a 50 mm ruler. In the iOS app, the share sheet can send it to Files or compatible apps; in a browser, the file downloads according to browser settings.
5. Print through the printer app
Open the official app named in the manual, connect the printer from inside it, and import the PDF. Set 'Actual size / 100%' and disable automatic fitting. Mirror exactly once: in the PDF or in the app, never both. Make a test print and measure the ruler; it must be exactly 50 mm on paper.
6. Apply stencil + tattoo
Trim and prepare the stencil according to the paper instructions. Clean and prepare the skin using professional technique, apply compatible stencil gel or fluid, and follow the manufacturer's timing. Confirm orientation, size, and placement before starting the procedure.
Common mistakes

- !Using 'Fit to page' and losing the 1:1 scale

The mobile workflow does not require a laptop: generate in Decalker, export a 1:1 PDF, and share it with the printer app. Initial setup depends on the model. Always validate 100%, single mirroring, and the 50 mm ruler before transfer.
